born in Scottsdale, Arizona, was raised in the small town of Show Low, where she grew up in her ancestral home. Surrounded by the sounds of her mother Joann’s songwriting and the music from her mother’s grand piano, Shanda’s childhood was steeped in melody. Her father, Carl, a dedicated cement contractor, instilled in her the values of hard work and craftsmanship. Shanda’s upbringing in this musically rich environment laid the foundation for her deep love and appreciation of music, which continues to influence her life and work today.
grew up on a farm in Idaho, always dreaming of being a cowboy. His passion for live music began early, sparked at the age of 12 when he attended his first concert, “Three Dog Night,” at Idaho State University. Immersed in his parents’ vinyl collection, which featured legends like Ray Price, Sonny James, Bobby Vinton, and Eddie Arnold, Byron developed a profound appreciation for diverse musical genres that has stayed with him throughout his life.
